COMBATING THE STREET ANIMAL CRISIS IN NEPAL, 2024

While the majority of our campaigns have sought to alleviate human suffering, as vegans our goal is to reduce the suffering of all living creatures wherever we can. We also want to make a difference to the lives of non-humans.

We have recently contributed sterilisation equipment that will initially allow a vet, vet technician and a few volunteers working with our partners Magic Marble Foundation (MMF) to set up a temporary tent to sterilise dogs living at the garbage dump of Teku in Nepal. Although a dedicated team of volunteers provide vegan food for the animals, the population continues to multiply. These animals face the prospect of hunger, ill-health and disease. There is general agreement amongst the animal protection community that, sadly, sterilisation is key to developing a better future for the street animal population.

Our sterilisation equipment will then be used inside Magic Marble Foundation's new and progressive veterinary care centre when it is completed later in 2024, hopefully reducing animal suffering for generations to come.

Thank you for supporting us. Every amount of support is a blessing to us ... Sending our sincere gratitude to you and the entire VCG group.
Jennifer George, Magic Marble Foundation
