In Ukraine, we are sending funds to provide a further 300 meals for vegans serving in the military. We are doing so in recognition of both the sacrifice and the dilemma they face in believing in a world of non-violence and yet feeling compelled to defend their country against an aggressor. There are no provisions for vegans in the Ukraine military so they are dependent on family, friends and charities for healthy food.
Since Putin's invasion, we have also funded more than 3000 meals to feed refugees fleeing from the war zones.
